About the Founder
Asher Beck founded Music Mentorship Matters as a dual-enrolled high school sophomore / college-level musician, accomplished trumpet player, and passionate advocate for music education and mentorship.
Throughout his musical journey, Asher has earned selection to more than 30 honor bands, elite ensembles, college/university bands, and prestigious performance groups. His dedication to musical excellence has taken him beyond the United States, including study-abroad experiences in France and Germany, where he explored music through international performance and cultural exchange opportunities.
A member of the 2025–2026 Michigan All-State Band, Asher believes that music has the power to inspire, connect, and transform lives. Through Music Mentorship Matters, he is committed to helping educate, encourage, and support the next generation of aspiring musicians by sharing his experiences, knowledge, and passion for lifelong musical growth.
